The building extends over 11 out-of-ground floors and 5 underground floors, attaining the height of 35 m over a 3,108 mq area. According to SIA standards, the total volume of the building is 127,520 mc.
The glass surfaces are approximately 4,500 mq wide.
In front of the lake four architectural elements - the so-called “sails” - had been added bringing life and rhythm and at the same becoming interior terraces that allow residents to enjoy the lake.
The principles of the “enlever, enlever” French school inspired the whole project, also because of the technical progresses in the sector of structural glass walls and of solutions such as the “glas fin” assembling systems.
Our contribution included the construction of an external supporting structure, essentially composed of stainless steel tubular laminates, so as to build the balconies.
The balconies supporting structures, made of stainless steel calendered tubular laminates different for diameter, extend over the full-height of the building.
They support the glass infill system and constitute the compartment for the sun protection curtains.
The great geometric and details elegance, required a significant effort whether from the design or construction or, especially, installation point of view.
This considering the fastening processes of the side and front infill glass wall of the balconies, too.
